What a day. What a crowd. What a blessing - when that sun went down so beautifully during the Eru Dangerspiel set, and created a spontaneous Wanaka Wave of Joy.

Thank you so much to all those who came along and supported the festival, and to the unstoppable crew that put this whole shin-dig together.

And to the amazing musicians who performed on that blisteringly hot day, and staggered the crowd with your bravery, talent and energy...tena koutou tena koutou tena koutou katoa.

The festival was held on Waitangi Day, Saturday 6th February 2010, run by the not-for-profit group Lake Wanaka SouNZ Incorporated. Since 1997, the incorporated society has been providing quality NZ musical entertainment, and has donated over $36000 back into the region.

For the 2010 event, the Lake Wanaka SouNZ Inc crew unanimously voted to donate a dollar per ticket sold to the Samoa Tsunami Appeal.
