Formerly of Electric Wire Hustle, this drummer-producer seamlessly traverses jazz, hip-hop, R'n'B, electronica, broken-beat soul and world music. Myele was introduced to the language of the drum and traditional African rhythms from an early age and his 5-piece band includes his father, Congolese master percussionist, Sam Manzanza.

Winner of an Arts Foundation New Generation Award, and recent collaborator with John Psathas and the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Maxwell will be performing a solo acoustic set which nods to his Little Bushman/TrinityRoots self, along with some more recent Maxwell additions.
